If you help out you get a special Dungeon World mini-class, The Walking Dead. Sometimes when you come back from Death’s Black Gates you come back… changed.

Of course if you’re in the Adventurer’s Guild you can check out The Walking Dead from the downloads page right now. Helping out The Walking Eye is still a great idea, they’re one of the best gaming podcasts around.

The basic idea is: not everyone can draw their character. So this handy deck of CC-licensed portraits is a handy way to show everyone what your character looks like. They’re especially good for con games where you can stand up a card showing your character’s look to everyone else. The included images cover a variety of genres, enough to be useful to most games. It’s a great idea that I’m a huge fan of.

The latest in the ongoing app approval saga: yesterday Dungeon World Basic was approved! Unfortunately, I immediately went to download it and found a bug that I just can’t let slide. My day job is software testing and I can’t believe I let this slip.

Since I’m blazing a new trail here, I want the first RPG/app things to be awesome, so I pulled DW from sale and submitted a new version. Based on past experience, that means next week some time.

No status changes on PfG Issue 0, yet. I’m making sure to do a fresh round of testing now, just to make sure.
