Random Kindness Encounter Bundle
Around noon today the Random Kindness Encounter Bundle launched. Adam and I made a sweet little playbook called Compendium #1: Finer Things for Dungeon World that’s part of the bundle. All proceeds from the Bundle go to cover a gamer’s medical costs associated with cancer, anything beyond her existing expenses goes to the American Cancer Society. Since Kelly has around $7,000 in debt from treatment, I didn’t think the American Cancer Society would be seeing anything from this. As of this posting, around 8 hours later, we’re only a few hundred dollars from completely covering Kelly’s expenses. That’s amazing.
The Bundle is an incredible deal if you haven’t got it yet. Each of the full games in the bundle (Murderous Ghosts, Blowback, Shock:, Human Contact, Maschine Zeit, Breaking the Ice, Clover) is worth the minimum donation ($10) on their own. Throw them all together, add the Dungeon World Compendium, Rooksbridge, and the forthcoming free release of Mythender, and $10 is a flat out steal. The $50 level is still a steal. It’s outstanding.
As far as Dungeon World Compendium #1: Finer Things, the only ways to get it right now are through the Dungeon World Adventurer’s Guild (who get it for free) or by buying the Bundle. Somewhere down the line we may offer it through some other channel, but that’s months away at the soonest. If you’re at all interested in three new mini-classes, new moves for each class, and new monsters, get it now.
