Dungeon World News
There were a couple of glaring issues in Monday’s release, so we’ve added a new version of Dungeon World, fixing some of those issues. We’re in the process of working through the great amount of feedback we’ve already gotten, so expect more soon.
And, while we’re at it, how about a preview of the Dungeon World iOS app?







Who’s developing this app? This is exactly the sort of basic “appification” (to coin a terrible word) of text, and I imagine you might have a host of designers asking you to turn their text into the same sort of experience.
Regardless, really cool, and I’m definitely interested in purchasing Dungeon World in this format, over a PDF or physical copy. Keep up the good work!

If only Vincent Baker did such things for his games.
I think it’s still new territory, and I’d rather Vincent do amazing game design over innovative apps. I’m sure when the format becomes common enough, or easy enough, everyone will be there.

when something for android?
No plans for Android yet. We’d rather have one great app, then branch out, rather than making two less-good apps at once.
Very cool. How do you plan to release this? As a side-kick to Dungeon World orders? Or, sold separately?
We’re at the mercy of our distribution methods here. Most likely, that means that we’ll offer a limited number of discount bundles for preorder, then offer the app as a stand-alone purchase, priced accordingly. We’re still working out the details, but that’s how it looks right now.
