Today at GenCon – DW Module S1: The Tomb of Arras

Today at GenCon I’ll be running Dungeon World Module S1: The Tomb of Arras.

The Tomb of Arras was once a memorial to a prince’s great love until the demon Ebezer moved in. Ebezer has laid claim to everything within the walls of the tomb; no one has emerged alive since the hellish takeover. Arras was buried with her talisman, which a local wizard has offered a reward for, saying that he needs it to save the world. Can you brave the demonic halls of the tomb to find the talisman and get out alive?

If you’re interested in playing, twitter @olde_fortran.

If you’re not familiar with Dungeon World, it’s Dungeons and Dragons viewed through the lens of Vincent Baker’s Apocalypse World. It’s a fantastic game, and great for pick up dungeon crawls.

  • Just watched A Better Life. Wonderful movie, highly recommended. I felt like it was heavily inspired by The Bicycle Thieves. 20 hours ago
  • Just figured out the next game I want to play. Y: The Last Man-inspired Apocalypse World. 22 hours ago
  • Well, @twylightdawns just found the big bad guy by getting drunk with some goblins, since that's one of her class features. 1 day ago
