Morrison’s JLA – Part 2

Moving right along through Grant Morrison and Howard Porter’s amazing run on JLA, we get to the first of a handful of big arcs Morrison pulls off.

Dungeon World now available in French

This pretty much made my day: Dungeon World has been translated into French! The translation was done by a fan in France, and looks to be pretty awesome.

Reading List Update

Thanks to Paul Czege, Nathan Paoletta, Adam Koebel and Tim Gray I’ve added some games to the list I’d like to take a look at for my overview of comics and RPGs, Project Yellow Sun. Keep suggesting stuff, I’ll keep saying I’ll probably read it at some point in the future.

Morrison’s JLA – Part 1

Morrison’s run on JLA pretty much defines superhero comics to me, so I’m going to start out with a few posts about his run on JLA starting in 1997.

Project Yellow Sun

At GenCon, I picked up two new superhero RPGs. One of those was the official DC game, the other was a lighter take on superheros called Icons. Neither seemed anything like the superhero comics I love to read, so I’m launching a crazy project to figure out why that is.

PAX Flyer

We’ve been working on a flyer for indie games at PAX. No idea if we’ll actually do a print run, but here’s the design: Thanks to John Harper for actually getting the perspective right, my execution was a lot worse.
