It took some thinking, but I finally reached level one on Project Euler, having solved 25 problems.

If you haven’t heard of it, Project Euler is a challenge site with several hundred problems that you write code to solve and submit an answer for verification. They’re generally pretty well done, with obvious solutions that are intractable but good solutions that run in about a minute. It’s kind of like an ACM competition with no time limit, and it’s a pretty addictive way to spend an Saturday evening.
